My specialist training includes lower limb surgery and trauma, with a particular focus on lower limb deformity correction and foot & ankle surgery with completion of the Lower Limb lengthening & Reconstruction Surgery Fellowship in Sydney, NSW, as well as Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship, skills that I fine tuned at the renowned Exeter Royal and Devon Hospital in 2023, recognised as one of the world’s leading hip units.

My specialist skills obtained during training in WA and NSW as well as international Fellowships and visitations, include complex procedures of the foot and ankle, total ankle arthroplasty, minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, deformity correction using intramedullary and circular frame devices, robotic- assisted partial knee, total knee arthroplasty and total hip arthroplasty. I am Fellowship trained with the ROSA and MAKO robot for hip and knee arthroplasty procedures.

Presently, I am contracted publicly with South Metropolitan Area Health Services in Western Australia including service at Fiona Stanley, Fremantle and Rockingham General Hospitals. I also conduct private lists as part of the esteemed Orthopaedics WA team out of St John of God Hospital Murdoch.
Prior to my training, I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Anatomy &

Human Biology at the University of Western Australia (UWA). Subsequently, I pursued my post-graduate Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at University of Notre Dame, Fremantle.

My journey in the medical field began as a Junior Medical Officer in Western Australia at Fremantle Hospital, where I decided to cross the Nullabor and embarked on the NSW Orthopaedic training program. This invaluable experience allowed me to broaden my horizons by working in various healthcare settings across Sydney and regional New South Wales for a span of seven years, prior to moving home to Western Australia to finish my Orthopaedic training.

Throughout my career, I have gained extensive international exposure through multiple hospital visitations and Fellowships across Europe, UK and America and provided much needed Orthopaedic care with WACHS in remote communities in the Kimberley, WA and Tonga as part of medical outreach work. Furthermore, I have contributed to The Journal of Arthroplasty through my published research and have presented at numerous regional, national and international conferences.

I am dedicated to providing high-quality orthopaedic care to reduce pain and regain function whilst preserving range of motion, with the goal to improve patients quality of life.
